Nicaraguan National Police reported this month about the seizure of two shipments of cocaine worth more than three million dollars in separate actions near the border with Honduras.

Police seized a total of 141 kilograms of cocaine in anti-drug agents executed in the departments (provinces) of Chinandega and Nueva Segovia, both with limits at border separating Nicaragua from Honduras.

Of the total confiscated, 86 kilograms were confiscated in the rural region of Los Clavos, El Viejo, Chinandega, worth $ 2.1 million, according to the second head of the Directorate of Judicial Assistance (DAJ). National Police, Victoriano Ruiz, through government media.
