On Friday morning, Clemson’s quarterback Trevor Lawrence – the No. 1 expected general pick in the 2021 NFL draft – held his professional day for scouts and evaluators. I had the opportunity to be there and see him make 52 throws and talk to him a little after training.
The junior QB of 6 meters and 6 kilograms opted for the session before the operation of the left labrum – his non-throwing shoulder. The procedure will not impact its availability for the beginning of the training camp in July. Among the 16 NFL teams that participated on Friday were the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have the opportunity to select Lawrence for 1st place in April.
Here are some of my most important offers from one-day professional training and what’s next for the talented defender.
