Marvel Avengers Players received a new update this week that should improve performance and fix some issues that caused players’ games to crash. The same update has added a notification that will warn players if their drivers are not updated, which could lead to problems with the game. Unfortunately, for those playing on consoles, the update is only available for the PC platform via Steam, so there is no cross-platform update to speak of this time.
Patch notes for the V1.4.1.26 update were distributed via the game community page on Steam to detail exactly what was different after the patch was released. From a quick look at the patch notes, it’s much more of a housekeeping update that solves the issues players have encountered, unlike any fleshy update with new features to check out. For those who have faced some of the issues highlighted in the patch notes, however, it will be a welcome version.
You can find the full details of Marvel Avengers please update below on the game’s Steam page:
Marvel Avengers V1.4.1.26 Steam update patch notes
- Stability and performance improvements, this patch fixes some reports about blocking DEVICE_HUNG.
- NVIDIA DLSS from Avengers Marvel now supports Dynamic Resolution Scaling (DRS). When DRS is enabled in conjunction with DLSS, DLSS dynamically adjusts the playback resolution to provide maximum image quality while maintaining the target frame rate.
- When you set the settings at the initial run of the game or when you reset the settings to the default values, the game will now set the default values best suited to your machine. The selected output resolution will take into account the power of your GPU, Dynamic resolution scaling will set to 60 fps on sufficiently capable hardware, and DLSS will be enabled by default on all hardware components that support it.
- The game now warns players on NVIDIA hardware with drivers older than 461.09 to upgrade. These drivers contain important fixes for the solid performance and stability of Avengers Marvel.
Marvel Avengers Players on all platforms have a Hawkeye War Table event to look forward to coming soon to share more information about the next DLC. To help retain players until then, Crystal Dynamics has offered a free Kate Bishop package that players can redeem.
