Just last week has passed product roadmap disclosure a series of upcoming Samsung gadget releases for that year, including the arrival of new mainstream laptops. Now some photos of the devices hhas also came to the surface, giving us a look at the new Samsung Galaxy Book Pro a few weeks earlier.

In the latest images posted by the famous leaker Evan Blass, we can see a relatively minimalist design for laptop available in both standard case and 2-in-1 bodies, the latter having a 360 degree hinge which allows its display to be transformed into various configurations.

According to Blass, the Galaxy Book Pro will be available in both 13- and sizes of 15 inches with at least two color options (blue and silver), the usual Galaxy Book Pro being billed as a replacement for last year Galaxy Book Ion, while Galaxy Book Pro 360 serves as an update to Galaxy Book Flex.

In line with Samsung’s plan to expand stylus support to a wide range of devices, both versions of the Galaxy Book Pro will also come with a built-in S-Pen and probably Samsung’s typical assortment of sketch stylus applications. note-taking and much more.

Based on previously rumored information from WalkingCat (@ _h0x0d_), the Galaxy Book Pro line is expected to contain a range of 11th generation Intel processors, integrated Intel graphics (or Nvidia MX250 or MX450 GPUs on some 15-inch models), Full HD AMOLED touch screens and potential Thunderbolt 4 support, which suggests that at least some versions of the Galaxy Book Pro may participate Intel Evo program.

WalkingCat also suggested that there could be another smaller and more portable Samsung laptop on the way. Tthe Galaxy Book Go will have an ARM-based processor, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx platform and probably support for 4G LTE or possibly 5G connectivity.

Unfortunately, as Samsung’s roadmap indicates that these laptops are still about three weeks away from being officially announced, there is no information on final prices or availability of the new Galaxy Book Pro.

Meanwhile, Samsung continues to pump other devices, including a new line of high resolution productivity monitors which come with HDR 10 support, have built-in blue light filters certified by TÜV Rheinland and come in a range of sizes and configurations. The S8 is above the new Samsung display line with 4K UHD resolution in 27 inch and 32-inch models, while S7 and S6 step up to resolutions 3440 x 1440 or 2560 x 1440 with screens from 24-inch to 34-inch, with several models that even offer a curved design or support for AMD FreeSync.

The only problem with these monitors is that although they support HDR 10, they are not true HDR panels because they exceed 300 nits in brightness, which is 100 nits lower than VESA’s lowest HDR400 requirements. However, for monitors designed primarily for office work and not for gaming or entertainment, the lack of full HDR400 support is probably not a big issue.

Unfortunately, Samsung has not yet revealed the prices and availability of these monitors, so, like its future laptops, we may have to stay a little closer to see how much they will cost.
