Although much of Samsung’s attention is probably focused on the upcoming arrival of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Buds Pro, a new leak suggests that Samsung is also preparing for the launch of its next Chromebook.

After posting a rumor, a few weeks ago about a new Samsung Chromebook, noted leaker Evan Blass recently returned with a very official product product for Galaxy Chromebook 2. Similar to original Samsung Galaxy Chromebook launched this early at CES, the alleged Galaxy Chromebook 2 once again seems to have a 2-in-1 design with very thin frames and a few color options, including a work of bright red or orange paint.

When it was first announced at CES 2020The original Galaxy Chromebook was a delight for its original $ 1,000 price tag, state-of-the-art aluminum design, and support for fancy features such as a 4K OLED display and built-in pen holder, both of which you’ll rarely find. on a typical concentrated Chromebook budget.

Unfortunately, there is only one image to go through this last leak, so there is not much else to collect from the picture next to it the inclusion of at least one USB-C port, a headphone jack, which looks like a microSD card reader and a side-mounted volume rocker.

I would also expect Samsung to keep the S Pen stylus holder included on the first Galaxy Chromebook, as it would be in line with recently blog post by Samsung’s mobile boss, TM Roh, who noted that Samsung “paid attention to people’s favorite aspects of the Galaxy Note experience and are excited to add some of its most beloved features to other devices in our range.”

Unfortunately, any additional information about the components, price or release date of the Galaxy Chromebook 2 is still unknown, so we’ll have to wait for more leaks or an official announcement to find out more. That being said, judging by the time of this leak and the original debut of the Galaxy Chromebook at CES 2020, I wouldn’t be surprised to see that the Galaxy Chromebook receives a proper announcement at CES 2021, which starts (basically, Of course) on January 11.
