A video went viral of a nurse who fainted after being inoculated with the COVID-19 vaccine, many questioning the safety of preventive treatment.

In fact, some Facebook users who shared the video claimed that it would lead to a “mass genocide”, which, according to Reuters, is false. The nurse later confirmed that she has a condition in which she faints when she feels pain. The vaccine has been tested for safety by Pfizer and the FDA.

In the video – which was made after receiving the Pfizer vaccine – the nurse, Tiffany Dover, told a reporter how excited she was to receive him, but then she felt dizzy and fainted. The title of the video on Facebook says: “Watch this nurse die after receiving the COVID vaccine. It’s so safe, isn’t it? This will become a mass genocide if people continue to follow these angry dictators. “

After recovering, Dover – who is a nurse at a hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee – told WTVC-TV: “It hit me suddenly, I felt it was happening. I felt a little disoriented, but I feel good now and the pain in my arm is gone. “Then she explained her medical condition, which makes her faint when she feels pain. A hospital spokeswoman told Reuters that Dover had “recovered quickly” from the incident.

The CDC acknowledges on its website that people can faint from vaccines. The health institute writes that, although it is not clear why this is happening, “scientists believe that the fainting is due to the vaccination process and not to the vaccines themselves.”

The FDA granted Pfizer an emergency use permit, allowing it to begin distributing the vaccine in the United States on December 11th.
