NASA publishes a complete video of the ingenious flight to Mars: Jezero crater is now a heliport

A few hours after the first images, GODMOTHER posted the full video of the deed with the full 30 seconds of takeoff and landing. The flight of ingenuity was delayed several times due to a problem requiring the reinstallation of the flight control software.

The video was shot at a focal length of 34 mm at 6.7 frames per second and is a sequence of about 1,400 frames, according to Imaging Scientist from Perseverance, Justin Maki.

A space heliport

With the flight done, now Ingenuity It has been designated by the International Civil Aviation Organization as IGY-1.

Its flight point has also been transformed into a space heliport called JZRO.

It is expected that, from there, Ingenuity perform four more flights, each with a longer duration and altitude.
