Dominion Voting Systems on Monday filed a $ 1.3 billion defamation lawsuit against Lindell for his repeated unfounded allegations that the company was involved in “stealing millions of votes” from Trump.

The lawsuit also alleges that Lindell accused Dominion of changing the election as “another opportunity to boost sales” for MyPillow after the CEO became such an outspoken supporter of Trump’s presidency.

Lindell told The Associated Press that the increase in sales his company experienced was very short-lived, but once retailers like Bed Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s stopped selling his product, his business was devastated.

“I’ve been looking forward to them finally filing charges,” Lindell said of Dominion’s lawsuit, adding that the lawsuit would prove him right. “I’d like to go to court with Dominion tomorrow.”
