Let me explain.
Final Fantasy XV it’s one of those “escapes” – a game I thoroughly enjoyed without ever finishing, despite the fact that I came very close to its end. One day I just gave up FF15 and walked away, as if Andy had abandoned Woody. However, thanks to the Xbox Game Pass, I have the opportunity to correct this glaring error in my video game recording, but also Thanks to the Xbox Game Pass, I only have nine days to finish the fight before it disappears permanently.
Don’t worry, I don’t intend to break up; I will play it as I would any other game that interests me. When I played recently Nier: Automata there were a few lost weekends or nights later than usual spent not in service until a deadline, but just because I enjoyed the game, I had nothing else to do and I wanted to play in continuation. I want to see if I take a second look Final Fantasy XV will inspire the same kind of commitment. What if not? Not.
FF15 is the only non-sequel, non-MMO, non-remake Final Fantasy that I haven’t finished since ARE YOU COMING. I remember downloading it when it became available in 2016, feeling amazed by every little detail. I suffocated to see FF15 the logo spread on the screen, I was so devoured for the new single-player Final Fantasy content.
Instead of going from search to search, I remember traveling to Regalia delighted to death that I could choose songs from Final FantasyI passed to accompany my journey. I spent a lot of time just vibrating in that car listening Final Fantasy VIIIIt is “Overture” and “Fatal free. “I clearly remember being eager to go chocobo, anticipating what the new chocobo-riding theme would sound like, and then being extremely overwhelmed by”Rodeo Chocobo. “(Real facts, nothing ever came close XIIIIt is “Chocobo Pulse. ”) I remember how Ignis’s good kitchen looked and promptly puppy-like enthusiasm for everything. I also clearly remember that I learned that “keys” (as in Galdin Quay) was pronounced “key” and not “kweh”- onomatopoeia for chocobo sounds.

Since I’ve already had time to spin with Noctis and its emotional support hymbos, I don’t think I’ll miss anything that tries to integrate the game in a much shorter amount of time. I hope, at least, that the experience will remind me why I loved her so much the first time and maybe this time it inspires me to see it to the end. If I don’t complete my mission and still want to play when time runs out, I will simply do what the Game Pass is designed for and buy the game directly. If I get to the limit and I don’t want to play anymore, well, there always is Final Fantasy XVI on the horizon.
Conformable Xbox, Final Fantasy XV is scheduled to leave the Xbox Game Pass on January 29th. From now until then, I will provide regular (spoiler-light) updates on my progress through the Eos world. I will also prioritize the completion of each of the character episodes that come with it Royal Edition, since I missed them too.
I’m leaving tonight and I have nine days to complete this journey. I wish you luck, bros and chocobos.
