Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s son weighed in on his father’s scandal with Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho after the Norwegian coach said he would not feed his son if he pretended to be injured.
It was Sunday’s 3-1 Premier League victory for United when Solskjaer senior criticized Spurs striker Son Heung-Min for exaggerating a blow to the face.

United had a goal disallowed after Son appeared to be hit by Scott McTominay during the build-up, with Solskjaer saying that if his son, who plays for Kristiansund in his native Norway, had come down as Son did, he would feed him.
This provoked an angry response from Mourinho, who said that the Son’s father was a better father than Solskjaer, but Noah came to defend his father in Tidens Krav, a local newspaper in Kristiansund.
“I always eat, I can assure you of that,” the 20-year-old midfielder’s smile told the newspaper, adding that his Norwegian colleagues teased him about the incident when he arrived at training on Monday, asking if he had had breakfast.
“I never stretched like the Son did. Probably Mourinho just wanted to divert attention from the fact that they lost,” he said.
