MX League: Cruz Azul will insist on Matías Almeyda, Alfonso Sosa on Plan B.

Cruz Azul car keep looking for the ideal replacement for Ropens Dante Siboldi, a technician who got off the boat after falling to Pumas in the semifinals and more than 10 days after his departure, Cruz Azul has not yet “tied” to who will take over the reins of the team.

According to Rubén Rodríguez of Fox Sports, the number one option is the current San José earthquake coach and former Rebaño Sagrado coach Matías Almeyda.

According to the source, the economic problem would be the biggest impediment to not reaching the Car until 2021 and, if so, Poncho Sosa is Plan B.

The source even mentions that if one of these two technicians does not appear, Hugo Sánchez is also an option to direct Cruz Azul.

In MLS, Almeyda has a negative balance with the San Jose earthquakes, out of 63 games she won 23, tied 11 and lost 28; with 124 goals against and 101 in favor.

It will be during the week when Cruz Azul chooses a coach, and the fans hope that it could be the Argentine Matías Almeyda.
