MX League: André-Pierre Gignac destroyed the “greatness” of Chivas, Cruz Azul and Pumas

UANL Tigres won the CONCACAF Champions League title and broke their malaria in international competitions, crowning themselves with León and Rayados as Mexican champions in 2020, so André-Pierre Gignac sent a letter to Chivas, Cruz Azul and Pumas.

In an interview with Roberto Gómez Junco, André-Pierre Gignac spoke about the “big” big names in Mexican football and assured that León, Rayados, América and Tigres are the teams that play the best football in Mexico.

“When I talk about the big 4 I don’t talk about the Tigers, but how many titles did they win? How many finals did they play? You have to say things, I’m not saying we’re great, but the last 10 years yes. I respect the past Chivas, America, Cruz Azul and Pumas “But what have they been doing outside of America in recent years?” Said Gignac

“You have to say things, today the best two teams in Mexico are in Monterrey and we don’t underestimate Leon, you have to be realistic. I think today Rayados and Tigres, along with América and León, are the best teams today. It’s important , we don’t compare times. “Gignac commented.

With this, Gignac leaves out Cruz Azul, Chivas and Pumas, teams that have not had a recent time recently, so for him, America is the only sea that still remains among the best.

León won the Guardians title in 2020, while Rayados won the Copa MX and the 2019 Apertura.
