In the most difficult days of the pandemic, last year, Vladimir Dotel suffered an anxiety attack that caused him to get into his vehicle, in his pajamas, barefoot and drive on the sidewalk without a definite direction.

The meeting was organized to announce the “Rock Party”, the show that will be presented practically this Saturday 20 from the site of the ruins of the San Nicolás de Bari Hospital, located in the old part of Santo Domingo.
Illegales thus faces the moment when the world lives and when one of the areas that has been most affected is music and about which Dotel was not indifferent.

This concert will also serve as a way to warm up his followers and prepare them for the following: an album called “Another Atmosphere”, which is produced by his son Bryan.
For this reason, he anticipates that some of the songs that will be presented in the show will have different arrangements, some fused with reggae and others in acoustic versions.
Dotel thus takes advantage of the new musical airs that Bryan has, to do something that connects with the youngest, but that continues with the spirit of what he has offered to his followers for 26 years.
“It allows us to experience many things, between tropical fusion and, as they say now, urban,” explained the singer and producer.
In this sense, some journalists wanted to know if this new production, which he says he did not finish writing the songs, will have the sound that contributed to the meringue when he mixed it with house and rap and Latin rhythms, in the middle 90s.
Dotel reminded that his son is 21 years old and that, like many other musicians his age, he is not interested in making meringue.
