The Winter Project, a brutal eight-person survival / betrayal game, set in the unforgivable snowy wilderness, has been confirmed as a launch of the Switch “soon”. Another Ocean Interactive, also responsible for the 3DS Minecraft and Wii U port al Costume Quest 2, launched the game on PC in February 2019 and just announced that the game will arrive on Xbox Game Pass at the end of January.
Like any survival game, Project Winter offers one lot of horrible ways to die: killed by a bear, crushed by an angry moose, poisoned by berries, eaten by wolves and killed by a teammate … who was a saboteur all the time. With proximity-based voice chat, you want to make sure you don’t get lost on your own, because your friends won’t be able to hear you screaming for help if traitors find you.

The developers have a game roadmap on their website that lists “Port to Nintendo Switch” as something they would like to complete in the future, so it’s not clear how far they’re in the porting process. The website simply lists the game as “Coming Soon.”
We’ll have an update when we find out the date. In the meantime, why not check out similar survival games, The long darkness and Red lantern to practice your snow skills?
