MP Sadoky Duarte, accused of assaulting police, complaint was persecuted and threatened

Sánchez Ramírez, MP for the province, Sadoky Duarte, denounced that, after the accusations against him were made public, regarding an alleged attack on a police officer, he was persecuted and threatened.

Duarte indicated that both he and those close to him were persecuted as a result of claims made by people on their behalf.

“I want to denounce that if something happens to me, my family, my descendants as a result of people’s demands, I was persecuted and I feel threatened even with my life,” said the deputy.

With regard to the complaints, he said that he maintained his position that the accusations against him were not true and that he would prove his innocence.

“I will show that I am a fair and objective person in relation to the deeds of which I am accused”, Detained.

“I have said here in the Chamber that I agree to withdraw my parliamentary immunity to prove my innocence as to the facts I am accused of,” he said.
