Mortal Kombat 11 Players Discover MK3 Surprise

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate players on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, Nintendo Switch and Google Stage have discovered a new Mortal Kombat 3 surprise or, more precisely, a new one Mortal Kombat Trilogy Easter egg. MK11 it is full of Easter eggs, to the point where even almost two years later players still discover them. The most recent involves Mortal Kombat Trilogy and the “secret” character, Aqua.

For those who do not know: Mortal Kombat Trilogy he had a “secret” character named Aqua, who at the time was simply a Scorpio palette swap, but instead of a mask, Aqua wore a duck. And, of course, there is a lore attached to all this. While the character is often referred to as a secret character of Mortal Kombat Trilogy, is more technically a canceled character, or at least that’s what the game files suggest.

Unfortunately, NetherRealm Studios did nothing to the character back then, but it looks like they slipped an Easter egg MK11 for the forgotten and aquatic ninja. In the game, whenever you select a dark blue subzero skin with a hood and belt, the character’s mask turns yellow.

Now, there are a few possible explanations for this, but none of them really add up. So far, this has not been confirmed as an Aqua Easter egg, but it is unclear what else it could be.

At the time of publication, neither NetherRealm Studios nor WB Games commented on this alleged Aqua Easter Egg. If this changes, we will be sure to update the story with everything that is provided.
