Here’s another quick look
I try to think about the last time I was so excited about one Monster hunter game.
Do not get me wrong! It was a blast waiting World, to see how Capcom brought the series to the current generation. But INCREASE it feels different. It feels like an evolution in some respects, especially with the varied terrain and the addition of the Palamute dog companion; but it’s also the simplicity of being on a single platform (which makes it very easy to team up with people because everyone is on the same page).
This feeling is probably best described in this quick 30-second commercial clip. Get the gist of the new expansive setting (with hunters literally looking the world down at the beginning of the video, as well as the thrill of fighting around and running on a mountain), the gentleness of the dogs, a brief teasing of formidable new enemies; everything is there.
Oh, he has amiibo too. This could help me put it on my list of the most anticipated games of 2021! I can’t get rid of those little things.
