GungHo’s online arena fighter Ninjala launched in June last year as a switching game exclusively for free games and has consistently built a solid fan base in the coming months. In January, GungHo celebrated six million downloads, so it’s definitely doing something right. Over the five seasons (so far), the game has had several “collaborations” – limited-time crossovers with other game series – and the latest collaboration brings Monster Hunter Rise-themed avatars, objects and more for the game.
Scheduled to start at 19:00 PT on April 27, the collaboration will last a month until 6:59 PT on May 26, the developers released a tweet, as well as one of their regular videos from the developer diary, which provides the full summary of the thematic articles presented (see below).
Players will be able to wear Monster Hunter Rise themed armor, eliminate Monster Hunter emotions (including everyone’s favorite “BBQ Success”, “BBQ Fail” and “Weapon Sharpening”) and get an IPPON decoration, stickers and various goodies. in Game.
The most juicy of these collab items – the “styles” of armor – will be related to a new feature: the honestly named “Collab Gacha”, a gumball machine that will probably introduce an element of chance in the style you get.
How expensive this collab will be for Monster Hunter fans is unclear at this time. Previous collaborations with Ninjala featured the Puzzles & Dragons series and – perhaps most significantly – Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends. The latter came with some really attractive prices, if you want Sonic cosmetic skins – the amount of Jala (Ninjala’s game currency) needed to get all three skins available has reached £ 48. Sip!
We can only hope that this new equipment is a little more affordable, but it seems unlikely, right? The word “gacha” usually means that the wallet is beaten.
