However, her evil plans become derailed after falling in love with one of the planned victims, played by Ed Westwick.
A trailer for the movie released on YouTube features many photos of Linton brandishing a knife.
Linton, an actress originally from Scotland, became a minor star of American thrillers, starring in “Cabin Fever” and “Intruder”.
Before her husband became a member of the US cabinet, he also worked in finance in Hollywood and is remembered as the executive producer of the Joker spin-off “Suicide Squad”.
Linton herself became a celebrity during her husband’s time at the office, the star of funny memes.
