Everything was going so well for Call of Duty: Warzone. With a balanced meta, users may return to using their favorite loads and not have to worry so much about DMR 14. Unless the hit markings are displayed correctly, which makes fighting be a little tougher, because those who are shooting are not getting any proper feedback from bullets. All the others work very well – opponents can still be eliminated and will reliably come down with enough firepower – but not really knowing if your trigger finger does things right is a long-distance problem.
We’ve been affected by this issue on PlayStation 5 since Saturday, as has the Reddit community since the game’s previous patch. Users tried to fix the problem by reinstalling Call of Duty: Warzone to no avail. Raven Software has admitted guilt on Twitter, stating: “We look at the claims that hit markers are inconsistent after last night’s update.” Let’s hope a solution is implemented quickly.
Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been reloaded with lots of new content as part of a mid-season update. It adds the Firebase Z map for zombies, as well as the classic Express arena, which can be experienced in a 24/7 playlist at the time of writing. Double XP will also ensure that you play in the early hours of the morning to get up as much as possible. If the lack of successful markers in Warzone has diminished you, there is always something new to play in Black Ops Cold War.
