HERMOSILLO, Sonora-. On Friday, at 18:05, “Play Ball” was played at the Sonora Stadium for the first game of the final between Naranjeros de Hermosillo and Tomateros de Culiacán.
First entry: Naranjeros took the lead from the start of the game, with an unstoppable Norberto Obeso, a sacrifice sacrifice by José Cardona, a double RBI by Yadiel Hernández, a hit by Isaac Paredes and a ball occupied by RBI by Víctor Mendoza.
The fourth entrance: With a 2-0 lead, Norberto Obeso caught in the left field to avoid Joey Meneses’ shot.
Eighth entry: Ryan Verdugo came out of the mound and left the game winning, after throwing seven innings without a score and hitting four cherries. Robinson Leyer was relieved and did not allow any shot or escape.
The new entrance: Fernando Salas saved the game, but allowed an escape for Tomateros, produced by Efrén Navarro. Isaac Paredes caught the third base to take the 27th place and the first victory.
