Citing the ambitious nature of the update that changes the game world, along with the current state of the real world, Mojang announced today separates MinecraftThe Caves and Cliffs are updated in two parts. The first part will be released this summer, as planned, with the second half in the holiday season.
One of the most requested updates from Minecraft History, Caves and Cliffs will renew the way the worlds are generated in the game, adding new cave biomes, corresponding mountains and all sorts of new blocks. The update was announced in October last year Minecraft Live 2020, with a planned date for launch in the summer of 2021.
According to today’s announcement, Caves & Cliffs has been split into two parts. The first part, which accompanying frequently asked questions says it will include “nice and fun crowds, interesting items and new blocks” that will arrive this summer. The second part will be launched during the 2021 holiday season and will include the radical changes of the world generation, which will give the name to Caves & Cliffs.
Sounds more like the meat of the update happens at the end of the year, with some shiny new things halfway to making players happy. As long as I get the promised goats and axolotls, I’ll be fine.
