Miguel Romero tests positive for COVID-19 coronavirus

San Juan Mayor Miguel Romero tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The information was confirmed by the municipal executive, who indicated that he gave positive results after performing an antigen test.

“Today, as part of the preparations to take my daughter to her university, I did a test for COVID-19 virus antigens, which gave a positive result for the presence of virus proteins. Subsequently, I did a test (PCR)) test to confirm the result. I am currently isolated and awaiting the results of the PCR test. I have no symptoms at the moment; both my wife and my daughter had a negative result in the test they did today, ”the mayor said in written statements.
