For a long time, Mireddys González remained out of the public eye. Exposing himself that Daddy Yankee’s wife had to open a door to the private life of Raymond Ayala and therefore his family.
Today, that door is ajar and, although she suspiciously keeps many things, she reveals what is needed to motivate other women to rest every day. And it does so through its social networks, where on platforms such as Instagram it already reaches one million followers.
Why did you decide to go out and show many aspects of your private life?
“My private life is still private. In my networks I decided to start opening up a little more because I have achieved many things and, if I had the networks open, it would be selfish for me not to express myself and to serve as an example for all those who follow me ”.
Many would think that this success was made easier for you because of who you are. What is the most difficult thing you have faced?
“Well, the most difficult thing I’ve faced is to achieve success for who I am as a woman and not because I am the wife of an artist. I want people to know that I also work hard to achieve everything I set out to do. “
It’s no secret that Mireddys has been the key to Daddy Yankee’s success, with whom he has been trying to make his way in the arts and recognized him. The couple, who celebrated their silver wedding anniversary last year, are one of the strongest in the show, far from scandalous.
“A queen believes in you, she does not discourage you. A queen is loyal, she does not think of betrayal. A queen is like chess, she always protects her king. A queen like the one God gave me didn’t change her for anything in the world. Today, this queen and I have been married for 25 years. Maybe my fans know me because I’m the best, but I’m a fan of her and I can trust you that she’s the best. In these difficult times, I remain infected by her love and she is my crown! @mireddys #bodasdeplata “, then Daddy Yankee,” Big Boss “, shared on his social networks.
Now it’s Mireddys’ turn, who is launching as an entrepreneur with her partner and best friend, Michelle “Michi” Matos, whom she met 22 years ago at a friend’s house.
“It was love at first sight (smiles). After that, we created a bond that has continued to grow over the years, ”says Michelle. “Mireddys is a woman with great strength, she is always aware of everyone and nothing in the grave, she taught me a lot, a lot. It is organized, which I have never been able to achieve and it is determined. I think we are different in many things, which is why our friendship lasted so long because we could see the situations that life put us with different perspectives “, he adds.
One complements the other, as can be seen in the videos they post on their respective social networks. “I really admire his sense of humor, the power he has and the way he copes with the situations that life has thrown at him. She is a very positive woman and always, no matter what, she manages to see something positive in everything “, says Mireddys.
The tests were many for Michelle. He managed to get out of the cycle of gender violence and a few months ago he faced the death of the father of his daughter, MDO Anthony Galindo, who took his own life.
What messages do you have for women who think everything is lost?
“Nothing is lost in life, everything has a divine plan, if we face all the situations that happen to us from the hand of God, everything, absolutely everything, leaves a lesson to your life, because what no one has seen, more chosen that I had to live, as I can speculate. But, because I am my only witness, I applaud and congratulate myself every day ”.
These experiences will be collected in a book, “Scars”, which will be published later this month.
“It’s a story about a little bit of my history, the storms that were at one time and how I managed to overcome them all, are an example of overcoming and through this book I want to send a message that all the wounds that soul it is not seen, we can turn it into scars, scars are the victory that at one point there was a wound there, but it has already healed and, if I could, we can all ”.
What advice would you give to women who want to get out of the situation they might face and move forward?
Mireddys: “Let them talk! I think one of the situations that complicates things is that they remain silent and do not seek help thinking that there are no ways out. And yes, there is; everything in this life has a solution.”
Michelle: “Everything has a solution, as Mireddys says, and we all have that inner strength that drives us. We must look within ourselves and aim to have a full and happy life ”.
What do you think you say “women don’t help each other”?
Michelle: “It’s impressive to read negative comments from one woman to another many times. It was shocking at first, but today I understand that these women, instead of anger or reproach, have to pray a lot for them, because they are incomplete women. Once they are found, I am sure that the missing piece will come to them sooner or later “.
Mireddys: “In addition, the things of anyone who comes are taken, if you know what you are and what you deserve, those comments do not affect you.”
The chemistry between them determined them to join a business with Melissa Guzmán (Miguel Cotto’s wife) and her best friend, Sandra Santiago.
“We are close friends with Sandrita and Melissa. The four of us are always waiting to keep in touch, because their relationship with friends is like Michi’s and mine. As a result of an accident, Sandrita had to stay in bed during the pandemic and gained a few pounds. I saw him advertise these products and the way he lost weight was impressive. One day we went to eat and they told us about HiBody and we really liked the opportunity, ”says Mireddys.
“Our intention is to be able to help all these people achieve their goals, especially in terms of weight loss. Many people have asked me how I managed to gain the weight I have today and it was very sacrificed, if I had this product it would have been easier for me. Now, thanks to them, I managed to support myself and because I want everyone to know that it is possible, it is important for me to be able to advise women and be a source of inspiration “, he says.
It was the social networks that helped them consolidate the business. However, they also expose them to malicious comments.
How do you deal with criticism?
Mireddys: “If this were the reason why we would have closed the networks for a long time, but I have to say that the comments they write to me and the people I have in my networks are more those who admire us and write beautiful things to us, and these are the ones that someone takes; I don’t get the negative, period “.
Michelle: “Take things in terms of who you come from and what others might say about other people doesn’t define who we really are. It is important to know the value you have as a human being, and when you find that value, I think that no negative comment from someone who doesn’t even know he can’t break you ”.
I once heard that rather than giving money when asked for help, they prefer to invest in a business.
Mireddys: „We always called and helped with everything Puerto Rico needed from us. Every time I help I don’t have to publish it, but in the same way I help those who need it, it’s fair to help those young people or those who want to start a business and don’t have or know how to do it. -o “.
Together they are stronger, they say, and the good vibes of those who follow them motivate them to continue to do what they do. “Thank you for your support, for all the blessings you bring us, for being part of our team, a team where we help each other achieve everything we want,” says Mireddys.
“Thank you for always supporting me and for those beautiful messages. It does not make a woman greater than to feel admiration for another and not envy. Let’s start admiring each other, understanding that we all have the same opportunities and that there is room for everyone on this planet. We have to share love, we always love and, letting myself be carried away by the phrase that says we offer what we are, we hope that one day we will all become human beings so good that what is left is love, ”concludes Michelle.
