Former national security adviser Michael Flynn, recently pardoned by President Donald Trump, is calling on Trump to institute martial law to prevent President-elect Joe Biden from taking office. During a Thursday night performance at Newsmax, Flynn insisted that Trump has “military capabilities” to force several states to rerun their elections.
“There is no way in the world that we can move forward as a nation. He could immediately confiscate them all at his command [voting] machines, at his command, ” Flynn said, citing Trumpworld’s unhinged conspiracy theory that voting software turned Trump votes to Biden.
“He could order the, within the swing states, if he wanted to, to take military capabilities, and he could put them in states and actually repeat an election in any of those states,” he continued, adding : it is not unprecedented. These people talk about martial law like it’s something we’ve never done before. Martial law has been instituted 64 times. “
