Meghan Markle’s little girl will inherit some very fashionable eyelashes – along with a very special piece of jewelry.
“I’ve always coveted the Cartier French Tank watch,” Markle, 39, told Hello! magazine in 2015. “When I found out that ‘Costumes’ had been picked up for the third season – which at the time felt like such a milestone – I completely turned my head and bought the two-tone version.”
The Duchess of Sussex continued, “I put it engraved on my back,“ To MM From MM ”and I intend to give it to my daughter one day. This makes the pieces special, the connection you have with them. ”
Markle’s version of Tank Française is available for $ 6,200, making it a worthwhile accessory to keep in the family for generations to come.
Coincidentally, the late fate of the Duchess, Princess Diana, had two versions of the same watch: a Louis Tank, which has an alligator strap and a yellow gold Tank Française.
Prince Harry, 36, is believed to have inherited the latter after his mother’s death, and eventually gave it to Markle, as she was seen wearing it during a virtual summit of Fortune magazine in 2020.
Markle revealed that she and Harry were expecting a baby girl during their interview with Oprah Winfrey, broadcast on CBS on Sunday, March 7.
For the arrangement, the duchess accessorized her symbolic Armani dress with a lotus print with two more special Cartier pieces: her yellow gold love bracelet ($ 6,550) and the diamond tennis bracelet of Princess Diana, which Harry used for to make her three-stone engagement ring in 2017.
“They wanted to wear the bracelet [Harry’s] mother there with them during the interview, “a spokesman for Markle told Today.
Cartier also offered the Duchess’s wedding jewelry when she said “yes” to her prince.
