Meghan, Harry’s conversation with Gayle King is a “breach of trust”: expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have hijacked peace talks with the monarchy by discussing private chats with Gayle King on CBS – a move condemned by the royal biographer as a “shocking breach of trust”, according to a report.

King, 66, Tuesday she openly discussed her weekend call with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, saying they were still upset and frustrated and that Harry’s discussions with his father and brother “were not productive”.

Royal sources told the Mirror that private conversations openly discussed and used against them would “cause alarm”.

“This type of behavior could have huge implications for trust between the camps going forward,” the source said.

Royal biographer Penny Junor also told the newspaper that King’s unexpected revelations could only be expected to make the other kings more guarded in their approaches to remedying the royal rupture.

“It’s a shocking breach of trust,” Junor said of Sussex repeating his private chats to a TV journalist.

“The family will worry that whatever they tell Harry will end up on American television.”
