HOUSTON – A Houston massage therapist has filed a civil lawsuit against Deshaun Watson, accusing the Houston Texans quarterback of misconduct in her home in March 2020.

Watson responded to the lawsuit on Twitter on Tuesday night, saying he had rejected “a six-digit request for a settlement” and that it was about “clearing my name and I look forward to doing so.” At the time of his statement, Watson said he did not see the trial.
“I have never treated a woman with anything other than the utmost respect,” Watson said in a statement.
The lawsuit alleges that Watson booked a massage on March 30, 2020, with a massage therapist working regularly in her home. After leaving the room, the massage therapist claims that he returned and found Watson lying on the massage table, with only a small towel covering his groin area.
The trial states that the applicant “began to feel extremely uncomfortable” and “it became apparent that Watson wanted a massage for one reason only – sex”. He accuses Watson of exposing himself and then touches the woman.
In the trial, the massage therapist claimed that after asking Watson to leave, the defender made a statement that he considered a threat. The lawsuit also says Watson later sent him a message apologizing.
The Texans issued a statement on Wednesday saying they were aware of the issue.
