Masks appearing in emails marked as sent from Amazon and China are part of the latest scam

Facial masks appear in mailboxes, even if the recipients say they did not order them.

Consumers report that the masks only appear in a regular brown envelope labeled with Amazon and China. However, there is no invoice or documents, only the face mask.

The Better Business Bureau reports that this is the latest article delivered in what is known as the scam.

It is a scam in which companies, often third-party external sellers, send cheap articles by mail to the addresses they find online. Their goal is to try to stimulate their reviews with Amazon.

Once the articles are received, they post false, positive reviews to improve their rating, which could equate to more sales.

I have warned you of this scam several times over the years.

During the summer, shipments of seeds from China were used in brushing scams.

Viewers also received other items, such as a fake gold-looking ring and other trinkets.

If this happens to you, change your Amazon password just to be safe. You can also contact Amazon customer service and report it as a fraudulent purchase.

If you get one of these masks, of course, you should throw it away, because you don’t know where it was.

Also, according to the FTC, you are allowed to keep something you did not order if it is specifically sent to your name and address and you do not owe money for it.
