On Monday, April 19, the 49-year-old star took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of him sitting on the couch next to his mother Alma Wahlberg as she rested her hand on his knee. Also included in the return image is the actor’s wife, bad, and their four children, Her, 17, Michael, 15, Brendan, 12 and Grace, 11.
“I miss you, Grandma,” he headlined the post, adding a heart emoji.
Among those who shared support was Mario lopez, who commented: “Prayers up!” Meanwhile, Rhea responded to the post with an emoji with prayer hands.
This followed Mark, her youngest child, by posting a photo with Alma on April 18 to celebrate the mother of nine children, who recently died at the age of 78 after battling dementia. “My angel. Rest in peace,” he had written.
Mark’s brother Donnie Wahlberg posted a tribute video on April 18, along with a loving legend about the matriarch who was known to viewers for his appearances on A&E Wahlburgers.
