Meanwhile, his close friend, Dan Block, told The Sun that he had a “huge chunk” in his neck, but postponed going to the hospital.

“Dustin has cancer – we don’t know what type or how advanced – we’ll find out tomorrow,” Dan told The Sun. “At the moment we do not know how bad it is or where it has spread.

“It started as a tumor in the neck – a huge lump in the neck – and it was very visible. “She was afraid that someone would take pictures of her and post them online. ‘

Representatives for Diamond, who played “Screech” on the hit show, said Tuesday they thought the problem could be related to cancer, but did not elaborate the next day.

“We will have a better response after all tests are completed,” Diamond’s team told Yahoo Entertainment. But I’m doing a lot of tests on him. We only hope for a speedy recovery.

Diamond was hospitalized in Florida over the weekend, a representative of the actor confirmed for DailyMail.com.

Diamond entered treatment after complaining that his whole body was suffering and his medical team feared he could have cancer, insiders added to TMZ.

The actor lost his mother due to breast cancer and is said to have a biopsy to deduce his medical condition.

Diamond created the role of Samuel “Screech” Powers on Good Morning, Miss Bliss, the 1988 Disney Channel sitcom that became Saved By The Bell.

He continued to play Screech in the original NBC series Saved By The Bell from 1989 to 1993 and kept the character undergoing multiple revivals.

The California-born actor was part of the 1992 TV movie Saved By The Bell: Hawaiian Style and the 1993 sequel series Saved By The Bell: The College Years.

Then came the spin-off Saved By The Bell: The New Class, which ran from 1994 to 2000 and included Dustin in its cast.

However, last year’s restart of the Peacock franchise did not include Dustin, although other old colleagues, such as Mario Lopez, returned to the show.

For the past two decades, Diamond has been the subject of controversy, including the 2006 sex band Screeched: Saved By The Smell, which he directed himself.

During a Where am I now? especially at OWN seven years later, he said he superimposed his face on the body of a stuntman for the tape.

“You know, I definitely took some money, but it wasn’t worth it. I mean people to this day, they look down on me, “he said.

He also said that his memoirs from 2009, Behind The Bell, were a “disappointment of mine” because of his descriptions of alleged drugs and sex during the show.

Diamond said the book was written by a ghost and claimed: “I’ve talked to a guy a few times, so the book has some truth in it, and a lot of the stories were just kind of misleading.”

He said, “Like, you know, ‘Oh, well, kids smoked pots and, you know, had sex behind the scenes.’ This came from another statement: “So someone was doing drugs or sleeping together on set?” – Well, what do you think? You know, he had a bunch of hormonal kids at 15, 16 years old. ”

Diamond said, “That turned out, you know, into real garbage about everyone, which it really was, I just have good thoughts and memories of everyone. I expected a copy to be sent to me for correction as well, either with my finger up or my finger down, and the copy was sent to me: “Oh, it’s done.”

Then, in 2015, he spent three months in prison for his role in a bar fight in Wisconsin, in which one of the participants was allegedly stabbed.

He was acquitted of a serious crime, which endangered public safety, but was convicted of two crimes, disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon.

He apparently remained friends with his co-star Mario Lopez, who hosted him at Extra in 2016 where he discussed his time in prison.

Diamond’s friend Dan Block told The Sun last year that the actor was unaware of Peacock’s rebirth of Saved By The Bell until news of it became public.

“I know he wants to be a part of that,” Block said, insisting that his friend is “a good guy and deserves a second chance.”
