Seattle Mariners President and CEO Kevin Mather is criticized for his comments during a Feb. 5 Zoom call with a rotating group.
The video – which came out on Sunday – includes comments about the need for a translator of former All-Star pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma, the English language skills of one of the organization’s best clients, and many other things the baseball team staff in team probably doesn’t want you to know them right now.
The 46-minute video with the Bellevue Breakfast rotating club included Mather’s thoughts on the 2020 season, the upcoming 2021 season and the overall state of the team’s reconstruction, followed by a question and answer segment.
