Mariah Carey reacts to her vaccine as if you thought she could

Mariah Carey hits the high notes again – but not on stage.

The five-time Grammy winner was filmed receiving a COVD-19 vaccine over the weekend – and screamed when the needle came in. (Watch the video below).

“The side effect of the vaccine: G6,” she joked on Instagram, referring to the name of the vocal range.

Carey previously revealed that she was nervous and admitted that she was distracting the medical professionals who manage the shooting.

She pulled out a Yiddish “yy” before the needle pierced her skin. Then she screamed and applauded with relief afterwards.

“Do it when you can,” she said. “We’re in this together.”

The “Fantasy” singer said earlier this year that blocking the pandemic could have benefited his career in some way.

“Taking off from work really helped my voice,” she said in a podcast in January. “I think in a lot of ways, I can only have, like, stress-free. And everyone says, “Oh, you have to go back to a studio. It’s like you have to go back to singing. And I’m like “I know.” ”

More than 61 million Americans have been completely vaccinated, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Carey has one more shot.
