– Lyft shares rose 11% in the premarket, after competitor Uber reported a smaller quarterly loss, even though its business was affected by the pandemic. Uber itself added 6.4%.

—The shares of technology security company Akamai fell 7.8% before the bell. After closing on Tuesday, it reported higher revenue in the fourth quarter, but profit declined in part due to higher operating costs and expenses.
