President Luis Abinader said today in the province of Santiago that the government’s goal is to work to create more and more jobs.
He indicated that he aims to integrate the national industry with the industrial free zones in order to achieve this important goal.
The head of state led the launch of the seventh stage of growth of the industrial park, Víctor Espallat Mera de Santiago, where it was announced the consolidation of two important business consortia, which generate over five thousand direct jobs.
He said all the energy and dedication of the government he leads is to make investments so that there are sources of employment for all Dominicans.
Before the President of the Republic spoke, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Mypime, Víctor Bisonó, and the President of the Santiago Free Zone Corporation, Miguel Lama Rodríguez, as well as directors of the Swedish companies Marcha and Boombah, spoke.
Bisonó highlighted the significant increase in investment in free zones and other productive sectors during the seven months of the current government.
While Miguel Lama Rodríguez, referred in his words to the growth achieved by the consortium he leads, with an integral development, which includes the social, human and with protection to generate all his clean energy.
