Joy, dance and a lot of Mexican music were the elements that made up the digital show Lucero, mariachi live, which the singer presented last night through Eticket Live, in which for an hour and a half she performed the best of her mariachi repertoire.
At 21:00, Mexican time, the so-called Bride of America appeared dressed in a beautiful charro suit in brown and yellow, on a stage where a huge screen gave the necessary setting for each theme and the 12 elements of Mariachi Gama Mil they were already waiting for her to begin this celebration.
“We will have great fun, we will celebrate life, that we are healthy and we offer a moment of joy to those who feel bad,” said Lucero, greeting those who saw her through a screen.
The first songs to be heard were “Cien años” and a mix of hits by José Alfredo Jiménez, which included “Serenata Huasteca”, “Que te va bonito”, “When you live with me” and “Vámonos”.
There were songs from other genres, such as Duranguense, but with arrangements for mariachi, for example, “Mi credo” and “Pero te vas repepentir”, by Kpaz de la Sierra.
“This is a novelty, I hope it brings back beautiful memories, because, as the lyrics say: despite the pain, how beautiful life is,” said Lucero and continued with “How beautiful life is.”
One of the funniest moments of the night was when Lucero performed a potpourri of the group Kumbia Kings, with their hits “My sweet girl”, “Sabes a Chocolate” and “Chiquilla”, and performed a series of choreographies with the duet of sensation from TikTok, Jesús and Carlos Gama, the youngest elements of Mariachi Gama Mil.
The singer “Electricidad” and “Always with you” explained that this year celebrates 40 years of artistic career, so he edited the album Lucero 20 and 20, which includes successes throughout his career, but beyond this event celebrates that he can be with his audience, at least in this way.
He also expressed his pleasure to be able to see his work again in the soap opera “Soy tu dueña” (2010), which was broadcast this year, making sure that it brought back very good memories and that is why he wanted to sing the main theme of this drama, Swallows, for which he invited Jesús Gama to sing.
She could not miss the gratitude for Mariachi Gama Mil, who accompanied her at different times in her career, but especially because he supported her in spreading Mexican music, which makes her feel so proud.
The medley, now dedicated to Los Angeles Azules, with “17 años”, “Cum am să te uit” and “El ribbon de tu pelo” followed; then he continued with “Go Where You Got” and “Llorar”, a song that he assures that he can’t stop singing in live shows, as it was his first big hit in the ranchero genre, a performance that was accompanied of some pictures of her with Joan Sebastian. “Volver, Volver” and “Viva México” were the preamble to say goodbye.
