The Olimpia and Marathón teams, which will represent Honduras in the 2021 edition of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League, already know their rivals from the round of 16 of the competition.
The draw in which the keys to the contest were defined took place in Miami, Florida, and was attended by the virtual coaches of the participating clubs.
Olimpia will face a historic duel against American Mexico led by Argentine coach Santiago Solari, former Real Madrid.
In turn, the Marathon will face the Portland Timbers of the United States. This club is coached by the Venezuelan Giovanni Savarese and they were MLS champions who played in the Orlando ball.
The quarterfinals will start between April 6 and 8, and the rounds will be played between 13 and 15 of the same month. Both catrachos clubs will open the key at home to be in the second pot.
The Albos will play the 12th tournament and are the club with the highest participation in the maximum competition at Concacaf club level.
