Los Angeles Rams QB, Jared Goff injures his thumb, may not play in week 17

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff has expressed uncertainty over whether he will be able to play in a regular season finale after suffering a thumb injury Sunday in a 20-9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

“I’m unsure,” Goff said when asked if he could play at home against the Arizona Cardinals next Sunday. “We will see.”

Sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Rams fear Goff’s thumb is broken and will undergo additional tests in LA on Monday.

“I hit him [a] helmet there for some time in the third quarter and put it back on and just finished the game, “Goff said.

Goff said his thumb didn’t bother him after that.

The Rams (9-6) have lost two straight games for the first time this season, but can win a playoff spot with either a Cardinals win (8-7) or a Green Bay Packers victory over the Chicago Bears. -7)) in week 17.
