The team traded on the spot on March 26, handing over four draft picks, including its own first-rounders in the next three drafts, to advance nine places to 12th.

Lombardi is convinced it won’t be Fields, though.

Mac Jones versus Justin Fields or Trey Lance. This is the big debate when it comes to the San Francisco 49ers and the 2021 NFL Draft. While the last two names are more likely to excite the fan base, there is much speculation that the first could be choosing 3rd place overall. A former 49ers defender, Richard Sherman, does not assume that he will be Jones. In fact, he sees Fields as the perfect match for San Francisco, assuming Trevor Lawrence and Zach Wilson are taken with the first two selections. Corner Tre’Davious White, the latest guest on Sherman’s Cris Collinsworth Podcast, also believes the 49ers will select Fields. It is not easy to understand that San Francisco taught several options in the first round and a

No one questions Justin Fields’ athletics. Some question the former Ohio state defender’s ability to move quickly from college to professional play. Mark Sanchez recently joined The Pat McAfee Show and explained why Fields’ ability to learn an NFL playing card may not last as long as some might anticipate. Maybe all his skeptics, who want to find ways to bring down the quarterback, are wrong. “For Justin, this guy, Dr. Goldman, is a sports psychologist; I talked to him yesterday,” Sanchez (h / t to Jordan Cohn of 95.7 The Game) said. “She is OK

Much has been said about the absence of San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and the absence of general manager John Lynch from his Ohio State professional day last week. Instead of traveling to Columbus to watch quarterback Justin Fields, a candidate who will be chosen with the general election of team no. 3, the duo was in Tuscaloosa for their professional day in Alabama, watching Mac Jones. Why Jones over Fields? “[Just] talking to Fields’ agent [David Mulugheta] and all, we’ll get another one from him, “Shanahan explained to Kirk Larrabee last week.” So we can see him. That made it an easy decision. “According to Agent Fields, the next opportunity will come
