77 min “Rob,” says Matt Dony, “could I write my previous comments about revenge? That is, revenge is a petty and messy concept. He is driven by negativity and looks back. It is much better to take morale high and not worry about revenge. Not at all.”

76 min Great shot by Alexander-Arnold, scored a really good goal from outside the box into Godfrey’s net. In fact, all three of Everton’s central innings were excellent.
19:03
75 min Everton takes over possession in Liverpool. Two touches later, the ball returned to Jordan Pickford. It is probably fair to say that he would be satisfied with a 1-0 victory.

69 min: Vital rescue from Pickford! Firmino and Shaqiri combine nicely to put Salah in the goal. His first touch is superb, over Keane, and then he whips a long-range shot, which is suppressed by Pickford. Salah did not have much space to work with, but he was still an excellent and decisive goalkeeper from Pickford.

65 min Mane plays a good ball to the superimposed Alexander-Arnold, whose low cross for the first time passes over everyone in the six-yard box. Close close close.

64 min Sigurdsson, on the left side of the area, leads a ball that jumps directly to Alisson. At best, it was half a chance.

61 min: Chance for Everton! Min.47, Coleman sends a lovely pass to the feet of Richarlison who races through the defense going 1-on-1 with the keeper …. beautiful goal! He looked offside, but the flag did not rise, and replays show it was for sure onside. It was a great chance – he should have hit it the first time, but he tried to get back to Phillips.

51 min Liverpool’s pace was better from the break. Mane is also playing more centrally, with no one on the left wing at the moment.

50 min Some opportunities for Liverpool. Alexander-Arnold’s cross is essentially clericalized by Holgate in the six-yard box, and then Mane stretches out to the distant pillar. It was a difficult chance.

49 min Alexander-Arnold’s center is confidently claimed by Pickford. So far – so far – it’s been impeccable.

48 min Richarlison has a goal disallowed for offside. No controversy, it was miles away.

47 min Mane heads straight for Pickford at Robertson’s cross. He tensed his neck muscles as he jumped back, but could not push his head back over the goalkeeper.

“Injuries” says Gary Naylor. “Okay, he didn’t defend a title, but take a look at this motley crew.”
I’d like to know more about that team. They were not a patch of the wonderful team from 1984-85, yet they won the thriving league.

“Forty-five minutes to the end,” says Mary Waltz, trembling uncontrollably. “It is the only time I regret giving up drinking 20 years ago. The early goal gave me hope, an extremely dangerous mood for an Everton fan. ”

“I appreciate that it was a difficult and strange season but Klopp has to take some responsibility for the fatigue his players experience, ”says Gerry Scott. “Do you remember when they were 5-0 at the Palace, but somehow he thought it was necessary to bring Salah? Madness.”
Agree. Diogo Jota was harmed in the clash. Earlier this season, my colleague Paul Doyle – who reads football better than anyone I know – said that Liverpool would not win the league and that Klopp should have sent the top three and defenders on holiday when Liverpool won the title last year . He was right.

At the break: Liverpool 0-1 Everton
Peep peep! Richarlison’s excellent goal gave Everton the smell of their first win at Anfield in 1999. Liverpool dominated without creating clear chances, although Jordan Pickford made an amazing save from Jordan Henderson’s volley. Henderson then became Liverpool’s most recent central defender to be injured, leaving with what appeared to be a groin injury.
18:12
43 min Mane and Alexander-Arnold looked pretty clear for Liverpool, but Salah, Firmino and Robertson were submissive. There must be fatigue; Robertson, in particular, bears no resemblance to the 2018-2020 elemental force.

41 min Liverpool dominated the half without creating clear chances. Both of Pickford’s saves came from long range shots. But Everton could ask for trouble by sitting so deep; I don’t think this will end 1-0.

39 min “Hello Rob,” says Toby Podmore. “I could be wrong, but shouldn’t the throw that leads to Everton’s goal have been resumed, because he never came into the game for the first time? In this case, it was not from 15 meters inside the Everton half (where the first decision was made), but rather from 10 meters inside the Liverpool half. I appreciate that everyone steals a few meters here and there, but 25 meters for a direct effect on the lens is a lot, right? I could be sorely mistaken, however … ”
I haven’t seen that, though you might be right. Anyway, I wouldn’t mention him in Roy Keane’s company.

35 min “There are several reasons why Liverpool have struggled this season, but I would like to see us fail with our first team,” says Niall Mullen. “This endless treadmill of wounds (a line of destruction, if you will) is heartbreaking.”
I’m trying to think of a team that won the league despite a series of injuries. Arsenal had quite a few in 1997-98 and 2001-02, although they did not lose 47 central defenders. Manchester City this season, although their list of injuries is probably not as bad as Liverpool.
18:04
33 min: Great save from Alisson! Everton could be 2-0 up and it was all the work of their wings. Digne curled into a brilliant cross towards the far goal, where Coleman took Robertson’s wrong side and hit the ball with a flying header. But it was too close to Alisson, who pushed the ball as he fell to his left. Coleman should have scored.
