Congress scheduled for joint session on electoral college results
10 hours
The House and Senate will meet in a joint session of Congress on Wednesday at 1pm, where GOP lawmakers are expected to face different challenges to electoral college counts in different states.
A Senator and a Member of Parliament must support a challenge to start a two-hour debate and vote on the issue by both houses.
There are expected to be challenges regarding the voting of the Electoral College in Arizona, Pennsylvania and Georgia. It’s also possible that there are challenges in Nevada, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
