The league would award four places for Concachampions, three for the Copa Libertadores, three for South America and eight for the League Cup. As is currently the case, the champions and runners-up will continue to play the tournament in the area.

On the other hand, the three teams with the most points of the year would rank Libertadores, while the next teams with the highest score would go to South America. The rest of the clubs will play the League Cup tournament against MLS teams.
