According to information revealed by Ernesto López Mota of the Guadalajara newspaper El Informador, Chivas have suffered an economic crisis since the arrival of Ricardo Peláez, because since the arrival of the manager, Herd had an expense of 40 million dollars, which they were not profitable after one year, neither in the sports nor in the economic aspect.

According to López Mota, Chivas’ economic situation worsened with the departure of Javier Eduardo “La Chofis” López, Gallito Vázquez, Jose Carlos Van Rankin and Alexis Peña himself, since they left no income in the Herd box, even in some cases pay part of the salaries of footballers they have lent to other clubs.
The most alarming case is that of José Madueña, because the footballer cost 4 million dollars and is not considered by the first team, besides the fact that he was pointed out by fans as being “sponsored” by Peláez, because the manager took him to his latest sports projects, strengthening Chivas, Cruz Azul and Club América.
