“Licensed” graduate who returned for Matt James

It’s an explosion from the past.

“Bachelor” fans were surprised to see former franchise contestant Heather Martin appear to shoot her film with current lead Matt James.

The 25-year-old – who originally appeared in Colton Underwood’s season of “The Bachelor” – caused a stir at last week’s episode when she appeared out of nowhere asking to join this season. The episode stopped just as he approached James.

In season 23 of “The Bachelor”, which aired in 2019, Martin made headlines because he was never kissed. On the show, she received her first peck from Underwood.

Although they had never met, James recognized Martin immediately.

If this sounds complicated, it’s because: While competing for Underwood’s heart, Martin became friends with fellow competitor Hannah Brown, who later became “The Bachelorette.” Although Brown did not end up with competitor Tyler Cameron, she remained close friends with him. Cameron is best friends with James, as he became the leader this season. James and Brown are also very close.

Martin claimed that he hosted Chris Harrison that Brown was the idea for her to come to “The Bachelor” to meet James before getting engaged, because Brown believed that the two would make a good couple.

Like many former “Bachelor” contestants, Martin works as an influencer (he has 256,000 followers on Instagram). It is based in Carlsbad, California, a seaside town at the southern end of the state.

In September last year, she starred in a music video called “Song for a Girl” by country artist Lawson Bates.

Martin has a strong Christian faith and regularly publishes Bible verses on her Instagram stories. Her Instagram biography calls Mark 10:45, which says, “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”

She has two similar sisters, Colie and Shannon. The trio soon begins a line of goods, called the Tilted Three, soon. They teased the project on Instagram.

She is also known for her cheerful disposition.
