LeBron James scores a triple without looking, and the Lakers give the Rockets another beat

Houston – LeBron James scored 26 points in just over three periods, including a 3-point corner without looking at the basket after leaving the ball, and the Los Angeles Lakers were never at a disadvantage Tuesday, trailing the Rockets 117-100 in Houston

Anthony Davis added 19 points and 10 rebounds in three quarters to help the Lakers beat the Rockets again, beating them 120-102 on Sunday.

Los Angeles had a 20-point lead for most of the game in one night when James Harden made five of 16 shots on the field and the Rockets bounced back 55-42.

Houston scored the first five points in the fourth quarter, but a three-point play by James ended the series, and the Lakers led 100-76 with 10 and a half minutes left in the game. James played the rest of the game.

Christian Wood had 18 points and eight rebounds, while Harden had 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a game in which none of Houston’s starters played the fourth quarter.

The Lakers had a six-point lead in the first quarter before scoring the next 12 points, including five from James, to go up 28-10 with five minutes left in the period. They led 35-14 in the first period and 71-48 at the break.

Durant scores 34

Kevin Durant had 34 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds, and the Brooklyn Nets rallied from an 18-point deficit to beat the Denver Nuggets 122-116 Tuesday night.

Bruce Brown made a great contribution, starting with Kyrie Irving. He scored 16 points, including the equalizer and the lead shots on the stretch.

Durant scored the next six goals for Brooklyn, including a triple that left the game almost over, 120-113, with 27 seconds left.

Nikola Jokic had 23 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds for the Nuggets, who were trying to go on their three-visit journey. However, Denver overcame 68-46 in the second half and squandered its chance to break the .500 mark, which it did not reach this season.

Caris LeVert added 20 points for the Nets, who had lost two consecutive games in Irving’s absence of four games for personal reasons. Brooklyn looked doomed to suffer a third straight loss in the third quarter, going 79-61.

However, the Nets shot in triples. And Durant started shooting from every corner.
