Today, the latest Samsung Chromebook is on sale in Galaxy Chromebook 2, but based on new leaks, Samsung plans to launch two new Windows laptops with built-in S-Pen.

Based on a new report from Sammobile, the new Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 will be available in both 13 and 15 inch sizes, the latest model even offering optional 5G connectivity.

Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 were first spied on about a month ago after receiving BT 5.1 certification from Bluetooth SIG. Similar to last year Galaxy Chromebook, Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 are expected to feature vibrant OLED displays with 90Hz refresh rates – components that would certainly help separate new Samsung Windows laptops from typical productivity rates.

And in accordance with a single purpose supported by the head of Samsung Mobile TM Roh in a blog post at the end of last year, Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro will likely come with stylus support via a built-in S-Pen, which means users should get a drawing and scoring experience similar to what is available on a Galaxy Note phone.

In the last two years, Samsung has made a concerted effort to expand its offerings of laptops and PCs, with laptops like last year Galaxy Book Flex being a nice comeback and now it seems that Samsung is trying to continue that momentum with a new line of Windows laptops.

Unfortunately, there is not much information about prices or a release date. But given that Samsung has already applied for and received a number of important certifications, an official launch may not be that far off. And given its “Pro” brand, Samsung has launched Galaxy Book Flex 2 5G even at the end of 2020, these future Galaxy laptops could end up being even more premium systems meant to stay at the top of the Samsung notebook range.
