Leak reveals a new iPhone 13 feature that everyone will love – BGR

According to leaker Max Weinbach, Apple’s next-generation iPhone 13 will feature a new type of coating designed to reduce the incidence of fingerprints and stains. Although fingerprints are not exactly a huge problem, sometimes it can be a bit of a waste when you spend more than one sea on a new iPhone only to see it full of stains a few days later.

Now, before you get too excited, Weinbach adds that the special layer in question will be exclusively for Apple iPhone 13 Pro models. All in all, this is not too surprising, given that Apple has historically reserved some of the newest materials and technologies for its top-edge devices. In a similar way, the 120Hz ProMotion rumor that comes on the iPhone 13 will also be exclusive to Pro models.

Weinbach’s scoop was originally posted on TotulApplePro YouTube channel a few days ago.

“There’s also a new, improved coating on the stainless steel edges of the Pro models,” the video partially says. “This will make the stains and fingerprints stand out much less, which Max says is extremely necessary for the golden color of the iPhone 12 Pro series.”

In fact, Weinbach is the same source who claims that there will be a model of iPhone 13 Pro that has a textured matte black that should make the device easier to hold.

“The matte back becomes more refined” TotulApplePro reported last month. “So, in the iPhones of 2021, I’m sure that Max refers to the Pro models, they will have a slightly more crowded textured back. He says they will be a little more comfortable and assumes it will be like a soft matte, like in the Pixel series. ā€

Other features of the iPhone 13 Pro – in addition to the new cover mentioned above, matte back and 120Hz ProMotion display – include Portrait mode for video recording, possible new colors, improved sensor-Shift image stabilization and improved low light camera performance.

While the overall iPhone 13 models should look a bit like the Apple iPhone 12 line in terms of overall form factor, the future iPhone 13 will have a slight design change as the notch on the device will be distinctly smaller.

Over the weekend, fake iPhone 13 cars appeared online and show what the iPhone 13 looks like compared to the iPhone 12.

The new notch will have a length of 26.8 mm compared to the notch of 34.83 mm on the iPhone 12. In fact, the notch of the iPhone 13 will be a little bigger in terms of height and will be measured at 5 .35 mm versus 5.3 mm on the iPhone 12.

A notable software change that we can see with iPhone 13 and iOS 15 is a new display always displayed similar to what we have already seen with Apple Watch.

“The Always-On display will have minimal customization,” Weinbach said a few weeks ago. “The current design looks practically like a small lock screen. The clock and battery charge is always visible. Notifications appear to be displayed using a bar and icons. Upon receipt, the notification will appear normally, except that the screen will not fully light up. Instead, it will display it exactly as you are used to now, except for fading and only temporarily ā€.

Apple plans to launch the full range of iPhone 13 next September, with a special event planned probably for the beginning of the month.
