Lead the ACC tournament after a positive COVID-19 result in the program

Duke left the ACC tournament after a positive COVID-19 test in the program, sources told ESPN.

The Blue Devils were to play the Florida State in the ACC quarterfinals on Thursday.

Duke defeated Louisville 70-56 on Wednesday to keep his hopes alive at the NCAA tournament. The Blue Devils have moved on to Joe Lunardi’s Next Four Outings in his latest Bracketology; they needed to defeat the state of Florida and probably get another victory to receive a general offer on Sunday.

With Duke giving up the ACC tournament, however, the Blue Devils are unlikely to make the NCAA tournament. It would be their first absence from the 1995 NCAA tournament.

The stadium first reported Duke’s COVID-19 problems and the subsequent withdrawal from the ACC tournament.
