Lainez the Champion? Betis “deleted” the clubs and received a ticket

Seville Spain /

In Betis by Diego Lainez and Andrés Guardado I don’t knock around the bush. If UEFA said that the clubs that play Superliga will be expelled from the Champions League (among many other sanctions), the Verdiblanco team took things very seriously and on its website, a ticket to the contest was reserved, by deleting the first three places in the Spanish ranking.

So from being in sixth place in La Liga, which does not offer a European position, Betis jumped to third place which would give him a direct pass in the Champions League; for Atlético de Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid, the founding clubs of the Super League, will be expelled.

However, the change that Betis has brought to the table on their website, it only lasted a few moments, because some time later they brought her back to her reality in which the Mexican team is in sixth place.

“IS ELITIST AND SECCESSIONIST”

Now, why did Betis happen to be so drastic on their site? Well, the answer lies in a release, where they qualified for the European Super League as follows:

“Real Betis and LaLiga strongly condemn the announced proposal to create a secessionist and elitist European competition, which attacks the principles of open competitiveness and sporting merit that occupy the depths of the national and European football ecosystem ”.
