When asked what gave her hope in the last year, she said, “I have to be honest. I’m about to cry at the other end of this call, because it really is – they are doctors, nurses, essential workers. I haven’t talked to this person about talking about this publicly, but I’ll tell you that a very important member of my family has been very, very ill recently and in the hospital for almost two months.

“I have been to the ICU alone many times because you can’t go in with more people, if you can’t go in at all. I never saw the heroic acts of courage I witnessed, watching these doctors, nurses and people cleaning the hospital, ‘she said.

Gaga also revealed that she was moved by the kindness of the staff while the loved one was in the hospital.

She added: “They put their heart and soul into their work and even took care of me, who – I assure you, no one could recognize me behind all the equipment I had. They just said, “How are you? How is your family? Is everything alright? Is there anything we can do? ‘
